Pancake Race Cancelled Over Safety Concerns

I see a Monty Python Joke here...

"A TRADITIONAL pancake race due to take place today has fallen flat after it was cancelled due to health and safety regulations and red tape. The Shrove Tuesday race in Ripon, North Yorkshire, was revived 10 years ago and is usually started at 11am by the ringing of the city cathedral's ancient Pancake Bell. But this year, organisers have tossed tradition aside because of the time and costs involved in having to put the necessary precautions and regulations in place. ......"
