Al Qaeda terrorists are plotting to put deadly poison in the salad bars and buffets of hotels and restaurants, according to U.S. intelligence sources.
They would hide either ricin or cyanide in the food at a number of locations during one weekend to cause panic.
Those who ate the poisoned meals would fall ill and die within days. It takes only tiny quantities of either ricin or cyanide to kill.

The best folks to put a stop to this are other Muslims; otherwise, if carried through, it will stir up unrest against all Muslims.

I agree that the best folks to stop this are other Muslims, though I don't see that happening. Its amazing (and heartening) to me that since 9/11 (contrary to what the press may want you to believe there really has not been a backlash against Muslims. Sporadic events, yes, but nothing like what the press implies. I feel fairly confident in saying that should additional attacks occur, this trend will continue.
