District of Columbia v. Heller- D.C Gun Ban Case
On November 20, 2007 the Supreme Court granted cert in District of Columbia v. Heller. The Court will consider whether the DC laws banning handguns and functional firearms in the home violates the Second Amendment rights of individuals who are not affiliated with any state-regulated militia, but who wish to keep handguns and other firearms for private use in their homes.
