Free Speech and A Christian Response

A Wichita Kansas pastor is arrested for merely being on the sidewalk, a series of disturbing incidents in Canada (here),lawsuits over movies (here) and the good ole "F_ _ _ _ Jesus" rant at an ESPN roast here and here and a subsequent demand by some groups for her immediate firing leads me to pose the question: In light of all that we are told to expect as disciples of Christ, is this the best way to respond?
