I figure neither the Australians nor the New Zealanders are very happy about this but it is striking news:

Thanks for the continuing bible study notes, BTW. I am reading, just not commenting, because it's easier to be facetious than serious on teh interwebs.
I too would have been tempted to decline or worse, attend and speak my mind so that even Biden blushed.
I have not seen xkcd's comment but will have to wait as my wife is in the room watching "Foyle's War" right now and I would be shot if I disturbed her. I'll watch it soon.
